Wendy Walker, HD, RMT, CST, Certified Reflexolgist
Wendy has twenty years of experience in alternative forms of healing. Her studies began in 1989, when she sought the expertise of an iridologist for a health issue. The positive results sparked a desire to learn more about health care choices not offered in the western medical paradigm. Studies began in iridology, touch for health and herbology. She returned to school and graduated in 1992 as an RMT and Certified Reflexologist from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. In 1994 she trained as a Cranial Sacral Therapist. She has studied approximately 600 hours in the fields of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Qi Gong, and Ayurveda, and has extensive training and practice in energetic healing and meditation. Her most recent schooling was at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine, where she graduated from the three year program in 2007. To date she has accumulated over 5,000 hours of study.
Woven into all of these modalities is a strong desire to learn why people become ill, and how they can heal. Intuitive energy analysis and clearing play a key role in how she works. By examining where a disease process begins, rather than focusing only on current symptoms, one can become aware of the perceptions and patterns that create ill health. This awareness facilitates a change in the whole and enables a shift in one’s everyday patterns. Healing occurs on other levels beyond the physical.
